Reflection

Digital photography was a fun class where just about every day we went to different places watch the scenery and take pictures. To be honest this was an easy class the most difficult part was going through everywhere we went because, we would walk for hours very tired sometimes with water and sometimes without it. Digital photography is a class i would recommend to anyone because im not person who walks a lot and i was able to make it through the hikes without dieing. As for the work, everyone should be able to do the work no problem, but i found out screwing around while its time to blog gets you really behind you'll have to be doing the blog while everyone else is happy and satisfied with the work they've finished on exhibition night. Best possession so far and ill be happy to join digital photography as a junior.

Day 10: View Cemetery

The final trip for our possession, and the last day we take pictures. :( And we visited a Cemetery, Ive never been to one so i didn't think id be as big as it was. We also went into The chapel of chimes before we entered the cemetery. A picture of a angel but the picture was painted in tiles. This is the main fountain from when you enter the main gate. It looks nice with the green trees next to them, all the trees have the same distance from the fountain.A statue of a grave that had patterns of snakes on it, it was the best statue i saw at the cemetery i would like something like this from when i die.And here is the picture of the statue with snakes but up close. I really like the amount of details into the snakes.

Day 9: G.G. Park

We went back to San Francisco to walk around golden gate park and look at whatever, enjoy the scenery. Where we ended up going to the beach and messing around for a while. This is a picture of ducks enjoy a swim through the water. One of my favorite pictures taken at this trip, while walking along the sidewalk there's water falling down. you can't miss it, and the water is just pouring down. The crazy patterns in this tree caught my eye so i had to take a picture. Looks like something little kids can climb on and play. This is a picture of an old but huge windmill that can be see from far away, there was a really nice view of it from the beach but i didn't take a picture unfortunately.

Day 8: Diamond Canyon/Optical illusion

We visited diamond park, to do one the longest hikes i can think of it was tire ring but it was nice to take photos and get it done. This is a photo of water going downstream.A better shot of the downstream water that was probably my favorite little area to be in.
nice view from above and the sound.A picture of the huge fountain in the middle of the area, this shot was taken from up top of the hill. The water wasn't too deep almost jumped in.

While back in class we looked for optical illusions on google. I found one and thought looked interesting so i chose it.

Day 7: Patterns in milk/cellular automata

Another Wednesday so that meant we'd be spending the our time in class. We tried an experiment which used Soap, food coloring, and milk. Here is the food coloring separating. This one has a bunch of swirls from constant mixing. The patterns look nice until you mix it too much then its a big puddle of one color.Using a program called golly we were able to make patterns just by one click of the mouse.

Day 6: SF Ferry + San Francisco

The Sixth day and one of the funnest since we took a ferry boat to San Francisco, went into a Museum and played off as Art students. And saw a huge fountain but the water was dirty. When we came out of 1 building i saw 3 buildings next to each other that looked like 2 towers and a building in the middle, i personally thought it looked cool.Picture of the bridge while we were passing under it from the ferry ride to SF. I did not take any pictures while we were on the ferry, unfortunately. So we visited many places in San Francisco but there was one spot that had a huge model of a bow and arrow.

Day 5: Leona George

Day 5 we took a hike to Leona George which has the only 2 and oldest red wood trees in all of Oakland, they were a bit hard to see but they were both tall and right next to each other. While climbing up the rocks there were a lot of water rafts so you could hear and see the water coming down the little rocks. Here we have a little area where there was no falling water but it looks nice since it was just there without it being connected to the other currents. When we reached the top of the mountain we got a really great view of pretty much everything but i tried to take a picture of east Oakland. While walking around we found a cement wall that had some really nice graffiti it must of took the artist a long time to make these.A picture i took on the mac using Fractal Explorer it shows an image and you keep zooming in and it shows different types of images.
